Fall 2025 Move-In

Move-In for the fall 2025 semester was a success! The campus was full of energy as students arrived and got settled, supported by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Fall 2025 Move-In

Welcome to your campus home! Move-in is an exciting time, and we’re here to make the process smooth and stress-free. Find everything you need to settle in and start your journey.

Thursday, August 21, 2025
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Move-in will be conducted by floor in each building:

  • 3rd Floor – 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • 2nd Floor – 11 a.m. to 1: p.m.
  • 1st Floor – 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Please move in during your assigned floor’s time slot based on your room assignment.

Finding Your Room Assignment

  • Check your JC Housing email
  • Or log in to ERez and view your profile

If you cannot locate your room assignment through either option, contact Residence Life at brownjahneln@jishuoba.com or call at 517.796.8626.

Check-In Process

  1. Go directly to your assigned building at your designated move-in time.
  2. Check in at the building’s front desk to receive your welcome folder.
  3. Go to your assigned room and review the contents of the folder, which include:
    • Room Condition Form – Must be completed to document existing damages so you are not charged for them later
    • Residence Life Contract – Sign and date
    • Receipt of Mailbox Key
    • Residence Life Handbook
    • Culture of Consent Booklet – Sign and date on each indicated line

Note: You may not move any items into your room until all paperwork is completed and returned to the check-in desk.

After Paperwork Is Returned

  • You will receive a card to take to the Jets Hangar to have your student ID made.
  • Once your ID is issued, you are free to begin moving your items into your room.

The list below contains items that will be needed to live on campus. Please refer to the Resident Handbook if you have any questions concerning living necessities.

  • Devices using open flame such as candles
  • Any type of gun/weapon (toy, BB guns, airsoft guns, pellet guns, bow & arrow, etc.)
  • Alcohol or Illegal drugs of any kind
  • Nails, screws, tape, wall adhesive
  • Any items listed or mentioned in the Campus View Resident Handbook
